A meeting of cultural personalities, held here this evening, termed the KSFDC management's decision an assault on the sculptor's freedom of expression. The meeting decided to take up the matter with the Chief Minister, A. K. Antony, the Information Minister, M. M. Hassan, and the Leader of the Opposition, V. S. Achuthanandan. The KSFDC management, the meeting felt, must apologise to the sculptor, Rajan, for their action and allow him to do another work on Chitranjali premises. The writer, Paul Zacharia, chaired the meeting, which was attended by artists, writers and sculptors, Neelan, Babu Bharadwaj, N. N. Rimson, Alex Mathew, Prasannakumar and Pushkin.
