Warm send-off to President

HYDERABAD Dec. 14. The President, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, who came to city to inaugurate the prestigious 32nd National Games on Friday, left for Chennai in a special aircraft this morning.

The President was seen off at the Begumpet airport by the Governor, C. Rangarajan, the Chief Minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu, the Mayor, T. Krishna Reddy ,among others.

The President's vehicle was driven straight on to the tarmac and he immediately boarded the waiting Aircraft.

Several Ministers including Devender Goud, K.Vijayarama Rao, Chandramohan Reddy, P. Ramulu, K.Vidyadhara Rao, MP Alladi Rajakumar, Chief Secretary Sathi Nair, Collector Rajesh Tiwari, DGP P. Ramulu, MLAs, officials and non-officials were among those present to see off Dr. Kalam. Senior officials of the Air Force, the Army and the Navy also gave a send-off to the President.
