AK-47 recovered near temple

SURAT DEC. 15. The police have recovered an AK-47 rifle from a car parked near a temple under the Pandesara police station limit here today. The firearm was found during patrolling as part of a stepped-up vigil in Gujarat, following the terrorist attack on the Akshardham temple in September. Investigations were on to identify the owner of the car. — PTI
