Nod for Information Bill

NEW DELHI DEC. 16. Parliament today approved the Freedom of Information Bill which envisages access to government information and files to every citizen in an effort to promote greater transparency, openness and accountability in administration.

The Rajya Sabha passed the Bill unanimously this afternoon. The Lok Sabha had approved it earlier this month. — UNI
