SC upholds SBI's VRS

New Delhi Dec. 19. The Supreme Court has upheld the validity of the Voluntary Retirement Scheme of the State Bank of India and sustained the order of Punjab and Haryana High Court quashing a similar scheme in other nationalised banks as they had tampered with the Government's original proposal. — PTI
