Togadia speech banned

Nagpur Dec. 20. The Maharahstra Government today said it had banned the VHP leader, Praveen Togadia, from addressing public meetings but there was no bar on his entry into the State

The Deputy Chief Minister, Chhagan Bhujbal, said the move followed Mr. Togadia's ``inflammatory'' speeches in the recent past.

Earlier, the issue had figured in the Assembly where the Opposition made noisy protests over reports of the ban. — PTI
