Advani condemns Mir's killing

New Delhi Dec. 21 . The Deputy Prime Minister, L. K. Advani, today condemned the killing of Abdul Aziz Mir, PDP MLA, and three girls in Rajouri district even as he asked the Jammu and Kashmir Government to deal with militants ``sternly''.

Talking to reporters here, Mr. Advani asked the Jammu and Kashmir Government to be vigilant and promised all possible help from the Centre in dealing with militancy. The State Government must take all precautions to prevent civilians being a target of militants, he said. — PTI
