Policeman's kin killed

Jammu Dec. 24. Militants killed two members of a police constable's family in Budhal area of Rajouri district of Jammu region late last night. About five Lashkar-e-Taiba militants swooped on the house of Pawan Kumar at Khawas village and asked for him. On not finding him, they slit the throats of his father, Thakur Dass, and brother, Surinder Kumar.

Mr. Pawan's wife was also injured in the incident.
