Tennis
This is the first time in the history of the tournament that all three singles wild cards have been awarded to Indians. Leander will also be contesting the doubles, pairing up with David Rikki (Cze), who is ranked No. 20 in the ATP doubles. "Of course I'm going to play in this event," Leander, presently in Orlando, USA, was quoted as saying in a press release on Tuesday. "This is, after all, India's biggest and most prestigious tennis tournament. It was here that my doubles career really took off and I simply love playing in Chennai. I have played in all seven past editions of this tournament and have a fantastic rapport with the fans." .
