'Pak. delegate did not follow procedure'

Islamabad Dec. 26. The Indian High Commission here has denied reports that it refused visa to a Pakistan delegate to attend an Asian Cricket Council Development meeting beginning in Kolkata on Saturday.

Reacting today to the claim of Zakir Hussain Sayed, ACC Development Manager, that he had to cancel his visit to India as he was not able to obtain a visa, a senior diplomat of the Indian High Commission said that the visa had only been delayed because Mr. Sayed did not submit a complete application. Instead of submitting four sets of forms, as per the procedure, he had sent only two sets.

However, Mr. Sayed said ``I have been travelling to India for long. I am aware of the procedures.''
