Srinagar Dec. 27. The Border Security Force has foiled the Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba's plans to trigger a series of explosions in north Kashmir, recovering a major haul of 10 prepared IEDs and other subversive materials after it busted a hideout of the outfit. The hideout was unearthed by the security force during an operation at Katyawali village near Kandi in Baramulla district on Thursday.

Besides the 10 ready-to-use Improvised Explosive Devices (IED), weighing 2 kg each, the search party also recovered two pistol silencers, three rocket boosters, two remote control devices, 2 kg of explosive, 14 detonators, two hand-grenades, three wireless antennae, five magazines and two hand-grenades.
