Rowdy-sheeter nabbed

By Our Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD Dec. 28. The Commissioner's Task Force (South) sleuths on Saturday apprehended a rowdy sheeter, Mohammed Bin Naser Masood (29), of Salala in Barkas, and seized a fake passport from his possession.

He was allegedly involved in seven murder cases in the City and Ranga Reddy district and had been absconding since 1999. He obtained a fake passport in the name of Syed Mohammed Ghouse of Agapura, from the Hyderabad Regional Passport Office in August 2001 and visited Qatar. He gave a slip to the police while being escorted to a court in June 1999. Unidentified body found

An unidentified body of a man aged about 30 years, found on the footpath near a junior college in Santoshnagar on December 25, has been sent to the OGH mortuary pending identification. The deceased was wearing black trousers, cream colour shirt with black stripes, a white banian and green shorts. The Kanchanbagh police appealed to people to pass on any information leading to the identification of the body.
