Letters to the Editor
Sir, The BJP president, Venkaiah Naidu, has claimed that the party would perform a hat-trick in the coming Lok Sabha elections. However, he has performed a hat-trick of a different kind. He has pulled out three rabbits through his statements that the BJP brand of nationalism is what was preached by Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru in the pre-Independence era, that the Gujarat experience was a mandate for the Hindutva ideology for wide-scale acceptability all over the country and that Hindutva is political dharma. S. Jagapathy, Chennai
