Letters to the Editor
Sir, This refers to your Editorial "Ugly terror" (Dec. 24) on the terrorist attack on schoolgirls in Kashmir. If the attack is linked to the `burqa' (veil)campaign, it is shameful and pathetic. Though the "burqa" forms a vital part of a Muslim woman's dress code, Islam neither insists nor entrusts anyone (or a group) to ensure that every woman complies with that. C.H. Abdul Majeed, Aluva, Kerala
