Hearing on Jan. 6

By P. S. Suryanarayana

SINGAPORE Dec. 31. Malaysia's Court of Appeal will hear the Quattrocchi extradition case in Kuala Lumpur on January 6, according to officials and lawyers. The hearing follows the submission of a ``notice of motion'' on behalf of Mr. Quattrocchi. India's plea for his extradition in connection with the Bofors case was dismissed by a Malaysian Sessions Court on December 2 and by the High Court at the ``review'' stage on December 13. The issues before the apex judicial forum are the admissibility of the appeal-petition and the status of the court's ex-parte order of December 16 that Mr. Quattrocchi's passport be impounded.
