CRA meet

New Delhi Jan. 1. The meeting of the Cauvery River Authority (CRA), which was abruptly put off in November last, is likely to be convened on January 13 to discuss the water-sharing dispute between Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.

"There is a proposal to convene the meeting on January 13, but the final decision is yet to be taken," sources in the Water Resources Ministry said.

The last CRA meeting scheduled on November 29 was postponed following the inability of the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Jayalalithaa, to attend it due to indisposition. The Kerala Chief Minister, A. K. Anthony, also could not attend the meeting.
