Police sources said the 37-year-old Sen, who was in deep coma and put on life support system on January 2, breathed his last at 6.30 a.m. Mr. Sen as well as the constables were off duty at that time. The police have initiated a high-level inquiry into the incident. Meanwhile, the police were still clueless about the whereabouts of the woman, for whose honour Mr. Sen died. The police have repeatedly appealed to the woman pillion rider who was allegedly teased by the constables in central Kolkata to come forward and assist them in their investigation. PTI
