Letters to the Editor
Sir, Your editorial `The Bihar bandh' (Jan 6) brought out the state of trials and tribulations caused to the general public. Bihar's history of criminalisation of politics and the politicisation of crime surpasses all other States. However, the de facto Chief Minister, Laloo Prasad Yadav's accusation of the Opposition parties having instigated and incited the trouble over the issue has no takers. It is time the RJD Government concentrated on putting an end to the galore of kidnappings, extortion and senseless murders instead of dabbling with the idea of forming third front at the national level.
