Four Veerappan aides remanded to custody

CHAMARAJANAGAR JAN. 8. The three associates of the forest brigand, Veerappan, and an autorickshaw driver, Gabbar of Arjundoddi, who were arrested by the Karnataka STF on Tuesday, had been remanded to judicial custody by the local court in T.Narsipur. Sagai Raja of Aladamaradoddi, Amalraj of Vaddaradoddi, and Modale Muthu of Sandanapalya, all associates of Veerappan, and Gabbar were picked up on the information given by three Tamil extremists who were nabbed by the Tamil Nadu STF a few days ago.
