New Delhi
By Our Staff Reporter
According to IGIA officials, visibility never dropped to critical levels in the past 24 hours. A steady breeze that has been blowing across the city since Tuesday afternoon probably did not allow the fog to settle in, added officials. Thus, almost all international flights landed and took off on time from the airport. However, some domestic operations were affected by fog or inclement weather in other places. According to officials, Lucknow, Kolkata, Jaipur and Indore among other places were affected by the fog. While Indian Airlines did manage to accommodate its passengers by combining flights, Jet Airways had to cancel its flights to Bagdogra, Jammu and Chandigarh due to fog at the destination.
