Dec. 13 attack victim dies

NEW DELHI JAN. 9. The ANI cameraman, Vikram Bisht, who was injured in the terrorist attack on Parliament in 2001, died here this morning after a fall from his wheel chair last night.

He died at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), where he was brought after the fall, at 8.30 a.m., ANI sources quoting doctors. The doctors said that Vikram's fall could have blocked blood circulation to a part of the brain, the sources said.

Vikram, who was critically injured in the Parliament attack was admitted to the AIIMS on December 13, 2001, and discharged on November 6, last year.

On the first anniversary of the attack, Vikram visited the Parliament house complex on his wheel chair.

He is survived by wife and two children. — PTI
