SA Games from March 9

ISLAMABAD Jan. 9. The twice-postponed South Asian Games would be held here from March 9 to April 8. A decision to this effect was taken at the executive council meeting of the South Asian Sports Federation (SASF), which was held here without the delegates of the Indian Olympic Association (IOA). The IOA chief, Suresh Kalmadi, sent an e-mail message that India would abide by whatever decision the executive committee took.

Curiously Mr. Kalmadi had informed his Pakistan counterpart last night that the Indian delegation could not make it to the meeting due to `disruption of flights because of foggy conditions' in New Delhi.
