Blast suspect deported

MUMBAI Jan. 9. In a shot in the arm for the Mumbai police, Imran Rehman Khan, allegedly involved in the Ghatkopar bus blasts case, was brought here tonight from Dubai on deportation. He is also likely to be detained under the POTA. Four others were earlier arrested in the case.

The deportation, Government sources here said, was ``a feather in our cap'' in that ``we have been able to convince normally the not-so-enthusiastic'' foreign governments to cooperate with us in fighting such grave crimes.'' Of the four arrested, one escaped on Wednesday while being taken to Aurangabad from Mumbai.
