Naga leaders for single unit

By Our Special Correspondent

NEW DELHI JAN. 10. Leaders of the Nationalist Social Council of Nagaland (I-M) said today that their goal of a single administrative unit comprising all Naga-dominated areas remained intact. Although they reaffirmed yesterday's statement of ``unconditional talks'' towards a ``peaceful solution'', the message today was that they were still holding all their cards.

Speaking to the media after a 50-minute meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister, L. K. Advani, the NSCN (I-M) general secretary, Th. Muivah, said that Nagaland was ``the place of our natural habitation.... we are asking nothing more than that or nothing less than that''.
