N. Korea quits NPT

SINGAPORE Jan. 10. North Korea today bowed out of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, blaming the `hostile policy' of the U.S. towards it and rejecting the International Atomic Energy Agency's latest resolution that called on North Korea to re-admit the nuclear weapons inspectors whom it had expelled last month.
