'N-E militants being trained by ISI'

NEW DELHI JAN. 12. The north-east is sitting on a powder-keg as Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence has made substantial inroads into the region by covertly using the Bangladesh territory for carrying out its operations.

A report submitted to the Government said the arrest of the vice-president of the banned National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB), Dhiren Boro, in Sikkim on January 1 had led to more information about how the ISI was using Bangladesh territory to carry out subversive activities in the region.
