Lok Janshakti to go it alone in Himachal

New Delhi Jan. 12. The Lok Janshakti Party (LJP), headed by the former Union Minister, Ram Vilas Paswan, today announced that the party would go it alone in the Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections.

Mr. Paswan told reporters that he would kick off the election campaign on January 20. The LJP would also contest the Assembly elections in Tripura.

Mr. Paswan, along with the chairman of the LJP Parliamentary Board, Arif Mohammed Khan, would launch the party's election campaign in Agartala tomorrow.
