CRA meet today

NEW DELHI JAN. 12. The Cauvery River Authority is scheduled to meet here tomorrow under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister, Atal Behari Vajpayee. The Chief Minister of Karnataka, S.M. Krishna and the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, J. Jayalalithaa, have already reached the Capital for the meeting that was postponed in November due to lack of quorum.

At tomorrow's meeting the CRA would discuss the water releases made by Karnataka into the Mettur reservoir in Tamil Nadu and review the situation with regard to deficit in releases and water levels in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu reservoirs.
