'Ominous decision'

Sir, — Your Editorial `An ominous decision' (January 14) has rightly expressed the apprehensions over the nuclear posture adopted by North Korea. Expelling the technicians monitoring facilities on behalf of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), and disabling the equipment used for the purpose and withdrawing from the NPT are signs that Pyongyang is all set to join the nuclear band-wagon. Pyongyang's blackmailing strategy might set a bad precedent.
