Blast kills 7 at village fair

DHAKA JAN. 18. A traditional Bangladesh village fair was rocked by a powerful bomb explosion in which at least seven persons were killed and 15 injured. Sources said the explosion took place at the `failya paglar mela', the biggest winter fair in the greater Mymensingh region, at about 9.15 p.m. last night at Dariapur in Tangail district.
