Top level changes in Templeton

CHENNAI JAN. 20. Franklin Templeton Investments, a leading mutual fund company, has announced changes in its senior management structure. This follows the elevation of Rajiv Vij, Regional Head (India, West Asia & Eastern Europe) to the role of Managing Director — Asia.

Ravi Mehrotra, who has been in the financial services industry for over 15 years, has been appointed as President of the asset management company and B. Swaminathan, one of the key members of Franklin Templeton India for the past 7 years, would be president of the services company.

R. Sukumar would take over as Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer while Suraj Kaeley would continue to be Senior Vice President (sales and marketing).
