Ketan Parekh remanded

KOLKATA JAN. 20 . After eluding the Kolkata police dragnet for over one-and-a-half months, stock-broker Ketan Parekh was today sent to police remand in the Rs. 120-crore stock scam after he surrendered in court.

Rejecting the prayer for extending bail granted by a division bench of the Mumbai High Court till today, the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, S.C. Misra, sent Mr. Parekh to police custody till January 28.
