Letters to the Editor
Sir, Wish we had more steely bureaucrats of the calibre of our Chief Election Commissioner, J.M. Lyngdoh. I am confident that the electorate would have welcomed the changes he suggested in the format of the nomination papers. It is not surprising that there were protests from the political spectrum. How proud can we be of our Parliamentarians who nullified the CEC's order?
Thangam Jacob,
