Decision on Friday

New Delhi Jan. 22. India's participation in next month's cricket World Cup hinges on the outcome of Friday's executive board meeting of the ICC Development International, marketing arm of the world body, which will decide whether or not to accept the conditionally-signed contracts of the Indian cricketers.

The president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, Jagmohan Dalmiya, told reporters here today that apart from deciding whether or not to accept the altered contracts sent by the players, the board, which will meet via teleconference, had the option of allowing India to participate in the World Cup, while leaving the ``commercial after-effects'' to be settled later.
