Maran suffers setback

CHENNAI Jan. 22. The condition of the Union Minister, Murasoli Maran, undergoing treatment at the Methodist hospital in Houston, has suffered "a setback since the past two days", a press release from the Additional Private Secretary to the Union Health Minister said tonight. The release, routed through the DMK office here, said, "He is being closely monitored by a team of doctors at the hospital."
