Poser for Advani

Sir, — Once L.K. Advani asked the media, "During the Emergency, why did you crawl when you were asked only to bend?" A pertinent question, well taken then and much introspected over. Today, after the birthday bash in Uttar Pradesh, the media and the public may well ask Mr. Advani and his Bharatiya Janata Party, "Why are you people now crawling before Mayawati?" Again, a pertinent question.
