No problem, says Ganguly

New Delhi Jan. 24. Ignoring fresh threats to his life by the Lashkar-e-Taiba, the Indian skipper, Sourav Ganguly, today flew in here for a function and refused to attach much significance to the development.

"I have read about it (threat) in the newspapers. The Government has provided me with security and that's it," he said.

The Pakistan-based militant LeT issued a threat to Ganguly, prompting the authorities to step up his security by providing him more commando cover. The security to the high-profile cricketer was beefed up after central intelligence agencies intercepted an LeT message to eliminate Ganguly and passed it on to their West Bengal counterparts.
