Letters to the Editor
Sir, The Kukis of Manipur, enlisted under the Government gazette as Scheduled Tribes, have been threatened by the Naga militant outfit, NSCN (I-M). In their own soil, they have been displaced. The Government, which is responsible for the welfare of its people, should uphold the Constitution and protect the lives of the indigenous tribals. Lien Lhouvum, New Delhi
