Mr. Jadeja had challenged the BCCI order after the K. Madhavan-led Board Inquiry Commission endorsed the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) report indicating his involvement in match fixing. The Delhi High Court had on November 1 last referred for arbitration Mr. Jadeja's plea challenging the five-year ban, after both he and the BCCI agreed to settle the matter "amicably". Mr. Justice Mehra, when contacted by phone, said that he had quashed the BCCI order making Mr. Jadeja eligible to play for the country in the future. Mr. Jadeja could not be contacted as he was en route Delhi from Kochi, where he had gone for shooting of his debut Bollywood movie flick `Pal pal dil ke paas'. The BCCI president, Jagmohan Dalmiya, said in Kolkata, "I have received information about the order but I don't know the details. I need to talk to the lawyers and get their feedback before I say anything on this issue." UNI, PTI
