Letters to the Editor
Sir, The message of the visiting Iranian President, Mohammad Khatami, in Hyderabad is laudable. His words show the importance of peaceful coexistence. At a time when vested interests choose to divide the country on communal lines, his initiatives should help foster fraternity and trust among religions. We should appreciate his simile that people of all religions are like flowers of the same garden. All leaders, political and religious, should shed violence and hatred and work for the spread of mutual trust, harmony and brotherhood. A. Kishor, Visakhapatnam, A.P.
