Surgery for Maran

CHENNAI JAN. 29. The Union Industries Minister, Murasoli Maran is undergoing a heart surgery in the Methodist hospital in Houston, Texas, U.S. A press release from the Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry said the surgery was being done where the mitral valve which was replaced months ago. Both the Prime Minster and the Health Ministry are closely monitoring the treatment being provided to Mr. Maran, the release added.
