'U.S. jetliner did not give its flight plan'

NEW DELHI FEB. 1. The Union Civil Aviation Minister, Shahnawaz Hussain, today said the Chennai Air Traffic Control had informed the Air Force about the U.S. Air Force jetliner flying at 160 nautical miles at an altitude of 33,500 feet over Chennai on Friday. He said the aircraft had its call sign on but had not given its flight plan. It did not respond to the ATC when it tried to contact it.
