The State Transport Commissioner, K.P. Somarajan, quoting a Government Order of January 24, 2003, has pointed out that all pollution testing centres should computerise and acquire web camera, computer, software and Inkjet colour printer. The details of the vehicles being tested in the pollution testing centres should also be reported to the concerned Regional Transport Officer and to the Transport Bhavan, headquarters of the Motor Vehicles Department. The testing centres have been asked to install the computers for providing the details.
