Letters to the Editor
Sir, On February 1, I was waiting at the crossing of Max Mueller and Lodhi roads when I watched two cyclists being told by security personnel to dismount and get off Lodhi Road. Obviously a VIP movement was taking place because further down I saw a pedestrian being told to remove his cap (was it to ensure that no explosive device was hidden?) before being allowed to walk on. The Prime Minister said that he had taken note of the inconvenience to the people on account of security. One hopes he will get to see it as a case of harassment of ordinary people.
M.B. Kunte,
