As part of promoting ecological balance, two lakh saplings (tulasi and neem) will be distributed to the participants on the day. Speaking to presspersons here on Friday, Sri Jeer Swami said the participants would be taking an oath in front of lamps to respect all religions. Religious intolerance prevailing in the country was unfortunate as no religion ever preached violence, he said. "Live and let live must be the philosophy. If you cannot respect others sentiments and feelings, you have no right to live. Living itself means accommodation and life is all about sharing and caring,'' he said criticising the attempts of some groups or politicians who were creating disharmony in the name of religion. The Swamiji said calling bandhs which disrupted normal life and caused problems to people was a "bad practice and must be shunned. Bandh is a dirty culture.''
