Sources in the office of the Command Area Development Authority and the Irrigation Department told The Hindu that about 4,000 cusecs of water was being released since this morning, while 600 cusecs more was entering the riverbed by way of seepage, which amounted to more than 4,500 cusecs. The water level at the Kabini Reservoir today was 2,256.87. The inflow was 153 cusecs.
