Rs. 770 cr. for bank

Chennai Feb. 7. The Finance Ministry today released Rs 770 crore to Indian Bank as further capital as part of recapitalisation scheme.

The recapitalisation had been made after the remarkable turnaround performance of the bank to enable it to meet the capital adequacy norm of nine per cent, a bank's release said here tonight. — PTI
