Indo-French joint air exercise begins

Gwalior Feb. 8. The joint air exercise between India and France started here today.

On the first day of the week-long exercise, officers of both the countries discussed the modalities and took out experimental sorties.

According to sources, many daredevil feats, including on-air refuelling, will be on display during the exercise.

Senior Air Force officers from India and France are here to participate in the event.

The Prime Minister, Atal Behari Vajpayee, and his French counterpart, Jean Pierre Raffarin, recently held a high-level meeting to boost bilateral defence cooperation. — UNI
