Talking to newsmen here today, Mr. Narayanasamy said he had also impressed upon the Chief Minister, N. Rangasamy, to persuade the Prime Minister in this regard at the Cauvery River Authority meeting in New Delhi. The PCC chief discounted the claim of the BJP president, M. Venkaiah Naidu, that the NDA Government at the Centre had achieved success on several fronts. `The Tehelka episode, petrol pump issue and the stock market muddle exposed the NDA Government weakness.' Mr. Narayanasamy alleged that the BJP was trying to politicise the Ayodhya issue. He also denied the allegations made by the DMK leader, R.V. Janakiraman.
