Letters to the Editor
Sir, Muchkund Dubey in his article `Dealing with Bangladesh' (Feb. 5 and 6) mentioned about the Bangladeshi scholars who are irked by our Government. But what about our citizens, who keep quiet in spite of provocations by our neighbours? Is it to be taken as indifference or tolerance? Bangladeshis were allowed all these years to enter India and settle here illegally. Asking Dhaka to take them back is not palatable to Bangladesh. Relations have worsened during the present regime of Begum Khaleda Zia in Dhaka.
K.V.L. Shanta,
